Watching the idiot box on Sunday I tuned into the Politics Show and saw this apparition being interviewed :

Image

She is, it would seem, Nikki Sinclaire MEP, elected at the same time as one N. Griffin, and is, it appears, one of an array of oddballs interested in succeeding Nigel Farage as the leader of UKIP.

Is it compulsory to be fucking scarily weird to be a leading light in UKIP?
At first I thought that Nikki must be a post-op transexual, as her voice makes Tom Waits sound like Julie Andrews, but her Wiki entry merely indicates that she is "openly lesbian".

I wouldn't look forward to meeting her on a dark night.

Nah, Littlejohn would have been tossing himself off as he wrote.

Well, whatever. I've moved this 'oh look, this right wing woman looks like a man-woman..lol' comment into here where i think it is far better suited.

I'm not always a fan of your knee-jerk moderation, but I think I'm on your side on this one. FWIW (not much, I'll freely admit).

Fair enough, you da boss. However, I'm not mocking Ms Sinclaire because she looks like a man (though she does a bit), but more particularly simply because

a) She's a UKIP MEP, and therefore fucking weird by definition. And also by definition, fair game for ridicule & mockery.

b ) She looks (undeniably) fucking terrifying.

That I mistook her for a trans-gendered person is incidental. I've come across 2 or 3 pre- and post-op transgendered people (all men who are really women), and they all looked and sounded dreadfully butch, despite being dressed superficially as women. Ms Sinclaire fits that bill too.

Hmmm. That makes them a bit more tolerant than I had given them credit for. I'd always thought of them as a kind of Diet BNP. I imagine Kilroy Silk is turning in his, erm, sunbed...

Nah, UKIP are the libertarian wing of the Tories, they have to tolerate gays (even though they'd really rather not).

Still a gang of weirdos, loonies and racists though.
