On my board the admin control panel keeps saying have the right version of phpBB in the general tab and the wrong version in the system tab.

I am guessing crap host.

Oh and I bet you admins and mods have hidden forums (only available to admins and mods) so you can slag us all off behind our backs. If you don't then you should. ;)

We do and we get to read all your PMs as well. BTW, that's not how you spell felching (not you Rob, I mean you, yes YOU).

You jest, but on one of the French boards the mods were so unpopular and so dense that they managed to send their PMs to everybody...
It was then discovered that one of the Mods had created sock puppets to sing the praises of a service he offered to B&B owners.

I don't go there any more. They banned Old Fred.
