This link should be sent to every selfish mail reader complaining about pensions, the NHS or whatever, they really don't know how lucky they are in this country :( :x

Damn, that's sad. Just shows how much bollocks some people talk about "living in poverty" or my pet hate, the "third world health service". Yes, there's a difference between relative and absolute poverty, but at least in this country nearly everyone can feed themselves.

True Mail-readers wouldn't look at a site like this - or if they did, they would just say that it was a fake, created by left-wing Liberal, bleeding heart do-gooders.

An informative site but the fake Live Feed of People Starving to Death on the right is pathetically sensationalist

I don't know. On first glance, I kind of agree, but the reason it's there is to remind us that these are real people with real lives and real faces that are dying through lack of something that's actually plentiful. Nevertheless, this is somewhat undermined by the small print which points out, in order to protect people's dignity, that they're not real people after all.

Sometimes good-intentioned Liberalism has a tendency to disappear up its own arse.

This site might give Littlejohn ideas. He could start an almost identical site called 'Real Poovery' where, from a map of the UK showing it's public toilets, composite, computer generated faces would flash up on the screen, and a corresponding scrolling list of names would run alongside, telling who had been cottaging, what toilet they had been in and how many so far today.

 Funnily enough, I initially read the subject line as True Poovery.
