Not just a MADELINE section, but she's been joined by DIANA. They're above the world news section, which gives you a sense of Sky's priorities. Go and look now, I'm not sure how long both sections will last.

The British version of FOX News, anyone?

Diana will probably last a week. The thing with the Madeleine section is that it's going to be a very difficult decision to know when to take it down. Of course, if a body is found (or if she's found alive!) then there'll be an obvious time to take it down, but if things carry on as they are, just stagnating further with very few further developments then it's going to be a difficult decision for the editor of the site of when to remove it.

Not really, Fox is fucking nuts. Sky News generally sticks to the British model of news reporting, the calm disconnected deliverance of facts. Fox News is just plain irresponsible tabloid TV.

There isn't really a British Fox. At least not on telly. The Sun is pretty much our equivalent.

ITV's been leaning Fox-wards of late, but it's still a long way off.

I have never really watch either Sky News or the FNC properly, but from what I have seems heaven help us and thank Ofcom for frequently hitting in the bum.

If you watch the FNC's premier show The O'Reilly Factor, you see a man who disrespects anyone who have a different viewpoint from him. He often says "shut up!!" when the interviewee says anything that he disapproves of.
Someone like Paxman, would put pressure on the interviewee, with strong questions and puts quotes to humiliate his guest without rising his voice, but Bill O'Reilly just shouts at the interviewee, making the person small.

You've realised ten years too late. Let's hope that the Express start to realise this sometime soon.

I noticed the Madeleine one some weeks ago, it's an instant rebuttal for anyone who says that sky news has good news coverage.
