The reason I say about this is that in an article in the Radio Times interviewing him, he said this about space...

Quote:
One final question:if you lived in space, what would you miss least on Earth?

Difficult. I can't think of anything particularly nasty. I don't think I'd miss the Daily Mail, though. A lot of people buy it. Isn't that strange?

No, he gave a lot of money to the McCann's legal defence.

That's an odd thing to say, especially the "isn't that strange" part. Is he referring to the thing that came to his mind, or the fact a lot of people buy the Mail.

It would appear he's getting in a swipe, but it's not completely clear (to me, anyway)

He must expect retribution from the Mail then.

Expect the anti-Branson stories to start appearing in the Mail soon then! We could have anti-social behaviour because of the loud music in the Virgin Megastores... or he could be labelled a 'benefit scrounger' because of the massive subsidy Virgin Trains receives.

Slight problem here, Virgin Megastores have been bought by the management and re-named Zavvi.
