And the inescapable feeling that Shiny Dave truly thinks that us proles should just believe what our betters tell us.

In fact, Cameron doesn't eat pasties, or caviar, he feeds on live mice. Charlie Brooker told me.

Except the many layers of tedious detail that tend to go hand in hand with lying.

As others have said, the PR act is so ingrained that he simply can't say anything like.
"I can't remember", "It was years ago and I've forgotten the details", you can't do that.
Never admit to not 100% liking anything - it closes doors.
Always plug the Brand, pie shop name, station name, every one's an opportunity.

Yeah, I agree he can't open a can of beans without phoning Steve Hilton. Or whoever suggested The Smiths to him. I'm just saying it's perfectly plausible he likes pasties, had one reasonably recently, couldn't quite remember where, said Leeds. That's indeed salesman/PR stuff. Not quite a liar though. If true.

In case you think I've gone soft, I'm enjoying his discomfort as much as you. And the "he can't tell Leeds from Liverpool" thing he's created for himself now.

I often envision Cameron being briefed somewhere on what cans of Guinness are or staying up late to Google how one subscribes to SKY. http://bit.ly/cFQuEX

Maybe he can't tell pasties from caviare either.

It's quite interesting if you go onto google images and do a search for 'David Cameron drinking' nearly all the images that come back show him holding a pint of beer in his hand or a mug of coffee. Whilst I'm sure he does like the odd pint of beer every so often I would guess that his tipple of choice would be more likely to be wine or champagne. So why are there so few pictures of him drinking wine?

He also likes to be pictured popping into the cricket or the tennis usually with a drink in his hand but how many pictures do we every see of him out riding with all his rich mates?

Perhaps he eats special pasties stuffed with caviare, or babies.

I tried googling for "David Cameron wanking" but it didn't bring much back.

For a brief moment I felt Jonathon Ross's salary was justified at that moment he asked Cameron if he ever cracked one out to Thatcher.

I think we all know the answer to that one now.

The UK is deep in recession and will be among the slowest of the world's largest economies to recover in the first half of this year, according to a study by the Paris-based thinktank, the OECD.

Only Italy will struggle over a longer period to return to growth, highlighting the difficult situation confronting the British government as it battles to boost confidence and get the economy back on track.

In recent weeks surveys have shown the business and consumer sentiment falling back after an initial boost earlier this year.

Yep.

Lord Oakeshott (one of about 2 good remaining Lib Dems) was right. The Euro crisis hadn't previously fed through properly.

Green shoots, anyone?

I've got the feeling Michael Fallon's going to be on TV again.

Yep, I don't know what Fallon's done to upset Cameron, but he's his favourite cannon fodder at the moment.
