1. Any confiscated property can be flogged on to fund their righteous cause and that of their angles (sic).

2. Possession of a flat nose, thick lips and crinkly hair - as well as walking whilst non-white - to be pushed to become offences under law. For which the property of the offenders can be confiscated.

Less than 100 at their demo in Keighley today, so few they buggered off to Bradford. Stevey Waxy Lemming and his oberleutnant Kev Carroll are out of the country.

The EDL is cancelled due to lack of interest.

Indeed. Up until the 1885 Criminal Law Amendment Act, the age of consent was 13. I'm sure in the 12/13th century the age of consent was far lower, like many countries at the time. Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan decree sex outside marriage illegal and the age limit is 18 for men and 16 for women. However, whilst laws are in place, it can't always be enforced in rural and tribal parts since traditions and customs out weigh the law. In countries like Yemen and Saudi Arabia, whilst child marriages do happen, there needs to be a clear discintion between marriage and sex. Underage sex is forbidden.

Yet, if the EDL knew anything, the highest place for child marriage is India.

Little factoid from last night's QI.

Apparently 12 was the age of consent for the whole of Italy until the 1920s when it was raised to 16, but Vatican City never got around to it. And that's the ONLY reason d'you hear? Yesterday about 100 EDL (police figures) went to Keighley got pissed and shouted abuse at passers-by. They were chased away (No Surrender?) so they decamped to Bradford. Except half of them got lost on the way (too pissed to find their coaches?). The 50 that made it drank some more, shouted some more and some of them hit each other to relieve the boredom. Then they went home.
I'm really, really glad that England doesn't have to rely on these dickheads to 'defend' us.
