I often wonder if my leftie liberal sensibilities and my dislike of 'overpolicing' and kettling etc makes me a hypocrite when I laugh at people I don't like getting very 'robustly' apprehended by the police. But then I realise that if someone is acting like twat, whether they're an EDL supporter or one of those islamo-facist-5-a-day-childhood-abortion-indoctrination officers that we on 'the left' obviously like, I'd still think they're acting like a twat and they can't complain when the police stop them attacking other people.

Edit: Oh yeah, and an EDLer sprayed lighter fluid on a journalist and then set him on fire. As (I think everythingEDL) pointed out on twitter, a muslim burns some poppies = front page news. A right winger sets another human being on fire = barely a mention.
