Just seen BBC news are breaking a story about donors being offered private access to Cameron for £250,000 with an opportunity to influence policy. Interestingly it's the result of a Sunday Times sting operation. Does Uncle Rupert not love Davey anymore?

Same old Tories.

Give it a few weeks and Cameron will be on TV saying "I did not have sexual relations with that woman".

Oh dear, that's a shame. :D

Intriguing that it's Murdoch though. I wonder what it means.

It means that Dave has lost his protection. The Don is making its withdrawal clear. It's the political equivalent of a horse's head.

The interesting question (apart from who the new Tory treasurer will be) is who, exactly, has stumped up a quarter mill, and what did they get for it? If Shiny refuses to answer he's fucked, and if he answers, he's fucked.

I predict a smoke screen and it's going to have to be more dramatic than the 40p per unit shite.

Bomb Tehran? Or Buenos Aires?

I love the response the Tories put out to the story, they basically said they took no money from the people the treasurer was talking to in the film. Of course they took no money because it was a bloody sting operation a couple of journalist are hardly likely to hand over £250,000 in cash when they already had enough evidence for a good story without handing over a penny.

Hopefully the Tories will now be forced to reveal how many of their big donors have had meetings with Cameron and Osborne over the last 2 years.
