Then what is he?
Apart from not being bright enough to tie his own shoelaces? Why bother to display his ignorance and inability for critical thought so proudly? Why put himself up for ridicule? He can't possibly believe he is winning any of these 'arguments'.

Did you think the BBC, or the Mail, were a tad excessive with their coverage of the Royal Wedding?

What would be the right amount of coverage for a once in a life time event like the Olympics?

That's true. Quite a big bit.

I think he sincerely thinks he can come here and make a point. Failure is driving him on.

for stupid people failure can be a motivator rather than an indication that one needs to either.

1) Stop .

2) Rethink what they are doing before proceeding.

You're both very funny.

Try reading what I wrote though. Your comments don't counter any points made or fit the context. Simply childish ad hominem attacks.

Just like NargleFargle's approach to debates, then? :D

Get off, Emmett. I stopped reading Year 7 essays when I retired...

Ad hominem is fine when it isn't the fallacy.

A person who says stupid things appears to be a stupid person.

I am not countering your 'points' as you are not making 'points'. I am simply indicating that all you are doing is showing off a personal quirk.

There is no argument here. Just you being a prize .... tit....

You may be right. I felt this topic was a little dead compared with some of the others. Why do you love the BBC so much though? You were defending it before I posted so what gives?

I don't love it. I have argued on here that the license fee is excessive. However that's just you jumping to conclusions about me.

I do appreciate the necessity for an unbiased source of public information though instead of stupidities coming from the same old transmitters (the mail which is why I am here) telling people what they want to hear.

You may be right.

Glad we can come to some agreement here...

Let me be more precise then. Any idiot can look at the license fee and see that too much of it is spent on ivory back-scratchers and limos to Salford. What I really wondered was why you think it is so pure and wonderful? I genuinely believe what I said previously that I don't think it is biased against either 'the left' or 'the right' but I still think it is partial to its own causes.

Make a sensible point and perhaps someone will grace it with an answer...
