Sort of. Family party in Rotherhithe and we all trooped off to see the procession. Just a lot of boats, really. The barge was nicely done. Booed a bit, called for Boris to be keel-hauled.

My mother always claimed the family was related to Oliver Cromwell (quite possible, old Irish landowners) but he was a bit wimpish and should have cleaned out the whole nest of Stuart vipers. Woman of trenchant views. Took pictures of me next to a framed photo of Stalin...

Me too. I said at the start of the discussion that I could partly see Carlos's point of view, but I just couldn't accept some of the points he cited in support of his argument, so I challenged them. That's usually how debate works on here, is it not?
