Will Young and Mr Pickles this week, yes?

I reckon gay marriage is going to come up.

I have to agree. Any Questions was a far more civilised affair.

Tonight's synopsis:
Quote:
David Dimbleby chairs a debate on the big stories of the week from Guildford, with a studio audience and a panel of guests which includes communities secretary Eric Pickles, shadow energy and climate change secretary Caroline Flint, singer Will Young, Daily Mail columnist Janice Atkinson-Small and novelist Will Self.

I think I'll go grey if I watch it.

So two knob-heads and a Daily Mail columnist I better go and stock up on the alcohol.

Yes, I think Andrew Neill may be onto something with his suggestion s of Blue Nun.

Watching QT while getting lashed could be the new cracking one off to Emily Maitlis.

I will be watching the commentary on here, as ever. It's one of the best parts of the week.

Eee that Lefty BBC, at it again.
This week they display their Socialist bias by offering us:

Eric Pickles- one of the nastiest Tories currently available, redeeming feature thick as he is wide.
Caroline Flint - Labour eye-candy, not very impressive in debate in previous appearances on QT/Newsnight
Will Young - Why? Just why?
Janice Atkinson-Small - Daily Mail columnist and UKIPPER
Will Self - Performance depends on his mood/chemical balance. The most likely to tear Pickles a new one. Should be entertaining at least.
and it's from?
Guildford - a solid Tory seat (apart from a Liberal blip in 2001 (previous blip was 1906)).

Those three together = Gay marriage debate. A gay man versus a pieophile and a reactionary churnalist.

Yes of course.
I'm suddenly feeling very old.
I'd actually forgotten Will Young was gay - shit I feel like a high court judge.

Ha! On top of that, with the DM/Kipper and Pieman, I would expect the oppression of Christianity to come up, too.

Don't give up hope, there's always one on duty for out of hours applications.

I checked out a "chapter" of that Any Questions? show - particularly from two weeks ago R.E. work experience.

Dimbleby can't moderate. He lets guests talk over each other and interrupts halfway through their points, so the one guy trying to make some sense was talked all over and marginalised.
