An awesome blog by our own (well, he posts here sometimes) 5 Chinese Crackers:

http://www.fivechinesecrackers.com/2011/06/tabloid-bullshit-of-month-award-june.html

Just the best I have ever read on the subject of Dacre. The best.

I remove my hat to you, 5CC, and never will it rest upon my head again.

I am going to buy a hat now so that I can raise it to 5cc. It is a long time since I have read such a great, and truthfu, blog.

I salute you Sir.

A rather interesting guest blog on the Angry Mob site put up last night, would seem from his Twitter feed he's getting some grief for it.

So will we see Reason turn round and attack the Mail in the way he attacked Johann Hari?

Thought not...

This skeptic blog has an interesting article on the Burzynski clinic. In case you did not know this clinic offers at best dubious unscientific cancer treatment or at worst snake oil for the desperate.

Nice post on the Mail Online's obsession with celebrity stories whilst decrying the cult of celebrity...

At least OK! and Paris Match don't try to persuade us that they're anything other than what they are.

The Angry Mob has posted a couple of excellent (as always) posts on the
hypocrisy of the Mail in criticising anyone over explicit content
and
the Mail's handling of stories about children, in light of their evidence to Leveson

Both well worth a read.

Thank you, though the comment has disappeared into the ether - Google/Blogger having issues on the comment front at the moment. I may well return to the subject of Gove in weeks to come.

Has anyone else noticed, by the way, that Therese May is a non-person now and for the last few weeks?
