I don't think the digger's particularly concerned with how others see his integrity.
He's more interested in pictures of assets and modesty.

Really? How do the agencies get paid then?

And what he can't remember, he doesn't know. All part of a familiar pattern.

One wonders how this lot ever managed to find the office let alone get a newspaper out.

Coulson seems to be good at remembering what he said to Labour politicians but struggles to remember anything he has ever said to a Tory.

It's reaching the point of farce now. Do they really, honestly think that anyone will buy the fact that none of them remember anything important, none of them were in the office whenever anything relevant happened, and everything bad that happened was hidden from them by other people?

At best, it shows that Murdoch Snr, Murdoch Jnr, Coulson etc etc aren't competent enough to run an egg and spoon race, let alone a newspaper. At worst, it's the flat-out laziest attempt at a cover-up in history.

I stopped watching Coulson after 20 minutes. It's a pathetic charade of selective amnesia which is a common theme for many people.

Coulson was trying to dispute with Jay that Murdoch didn't have an influence over the editor of The Sun then Leveson interjected and got him to admit that it would take a remarkably robust editor to do a 180 and defy Rupert's wishes, especially referring to Murdoch saying that The Sun was the paper closest to his interests.
