Because no Labour leader is going to turn down a present for Brenda, especially this year,

He shouldn't comment. Or at least keep it general like he did over the tanker drivers.

But I'm not sure about the strike. Border control staff aren't like tube drivers, with industrial muscle. It's only 24 hours, and loads of the people affected will only be in Britain for a very short time anyway.

ICM's latest Guardian poll gives Labour a five-point lead, unchanged from last month. This was interesting though:

Quote:
ICM also asked how people would vote if Tony Blair was Labour leader, and found a slightly larger smaller Labour lead, with the Conservatives on 34%, Labour on 36% and the Lib Dems on 15%.

Uncomfortable reading for the Labour Uncut gang. Their man is a liability.

He mis-sold me loan insurance too.

Do YOU have a credit card, loan or mortgage? You could have been mis-sold PPI. Don't waste your valuable time writing to the bank or credit card supplier requesting a an easy-to-complete form, send your details to any one of a dozen companies advertising on the TV and they'll fill in the form on your behalf and hand you back the money while first deducting 30% commission plus VAT.

So the concerted attack on lefty state schools and their anti-competitive ethos. But feelgood for the wonderful results achieved anyway. The Tories must be flying.

Con 33
Lab 42
Lib Dem 11
UKIP 6

Brilliant. Enough UKIP to frighten the Tories too.

They faded quite well in the local elections too. And at the general election, come to think of it.

But I wish them well at Corby.

With Delingpole as candidate, as promoted by one Toby Young and, indeed, the pole himself?

That won't happen. Fargle will stand himself. No reason at all he shouldn't.

Is Delingpole a member? I reckon UKIP had enough of that sort of shit with Kilroy.
