Ah that is why Nick Clegg always sits there looking glum, he hasn't been told what to do.

David Cameron is very mature for his age

David Cameron won't answer Chris Bryant until he apologises

Quote:
The prime minister has refused to answer questions from a Labour MP until he apologises for accusing him of misleading parliament.

During a statement on the G20 summit, Labour's Chris Bryant asked Mr Cameron about corruption in Russia.

But Mr Cameron refused to answer this, or any future questions from the MP, until he receives an apology.

In April, Mr Bryant questioned whether the PM had misled parliament over the number of times had met Rupert Murdoch.

The Labour MP, who has been heavily involved in the campaign to expose phone hacking, made the accusation when evidence published by the Leveson inquiry showed meetings between Mr Murdoch and Mr Cameron which were not on a list published by the PM.

Responding to Mr Bryant's question about the death of Russian lawyer Sergei Magnitsky, the prime minister said: "The word I'm waiting for from him, because he introduced a point of order claiming that I had misled the House, is 'sorry'.

"He has said sorry to everybody else... I think he has said sorry to the House in general but the person he accused of doing something wrong he's not yet said sorry to.

"Until I get that apology, I think I'll leave off the answers."

Following the exchange, Mr Bryant tweeted: "So I raise economic growth and corruption in Russia and the PM replies with childish refusal to answer."

The Labour MP is next due to question the prime minister on Wednesday at Prime Minister's Questions.

Mr Bryant, Labour's shadow immigration minister, caused controversy in a separate debate when he accused Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt of lying to parliament over his contacts with News Corp.

I thought Cameron was a straight talker. So presumably he doesn't agree with silly old Parliamentary convention like this. You reckon he'd have done this if someone accused Warsi of lying, rather than his mate Hunt?

John Major cut up very rough over this once when Margaret Beckett said he was "peddling untruths".

My brother and sister went to Arle (a fact not unconnected with me going to Cheltenham College, as I'm much, much younger)- God knows what Cameron would have thought of them.

I say "Arle" but it changed its name to Kingsmead. Then got knocked down. Then rebuilt on a different bit of the same site, and renamed Christ College Academy.

Its 2008 results would have put it last in Tower Hamlets.

Cameron cites questions like 'Would you look at the Moon with a microscope or a telescope?' as proof in the poor standard of GCSEs. Yet, this has only appeared in the Daily Mail. He had another awful PMQs.

Quoting 1 question out of (maybe) 100. That's really scientific. Still, that cuts more than one way:

Balls did another very good quiz.

When Cameron was heckled by a volunteer at an Olympic event he tried to play down the heckle by saying it wasn't the time or place for such behaviour because it was a non-political event. Presumably if the Olympics prove to be a success Cameron won't hesitate to stand up in the commons and claim that the success was largely down to the efforts of the government.

I felt that Labour went out of their way to include others in olympics preparation. Not holding my breath to see them get a mention while Dave and Bojo hog the upcoming limelight.

You can get your life that, should anything go wrong, it will be "Labour's Olympics" and Blair's fault for leading the bid.

I'd love to see the whole question.

30 years back in my Physics O'level's short answer paper there was something fairly similar.
The question provided a selection of measuring instruments, then asked which one(s) could be used to measure different quantities.

It was a bollocks question beacause I'm sure it neglected cunning answers.

Example: Which instrument(s) could be used to measure the height of a skyscraper.

Answer: The Oscilliscope. (chuck it off the top of the skyscraper and see how ling it takes to hit the ground. Assume standard acceleration due to gravity and solve for.

Height = g x time^2 / 2

Or go to the building's concierge and use it as a bribe for the right answer...
