Kids told to bake a PC Pizza

Quote:
STUNNED schoolkids were asked to design a politically-correct PIZZA which would not offend anyone.

Pupils were told to discuss which toppings might upset religious groups, veggies or people with allergies.

In response, The Sun’s culinary experts have cooked up the most unPC pizza in Britain, with ingredients to offend everyone.

Greg McLaughlan, 40, whose daughter Chelsea, 12, was in the lesson, said: “It’s ridiculous to tell kids what they can put on pizza. It makes race relations more difficult.”

But headteacher Jan Charters defended the lesson at Oakwood Technology College, Rotherham, South Yorks – where a fifth of pupils are Muslim.

She said: “We frequently ask students to look at all manner of other view-points so they gain a full understanding of a topic.”

People falling for these stupid stories that have been twisted out of all recognition is the real problem with society. :( But hey it allows Sun readers to say:

Quote:
Here We Go Again ! Politically Correct Pizza, are they having a laugh ? Why do we always have to bow down to all sorts of minority groups ..Does anyone really care ..Forget about and all the other easy to offend minorities.....This is England !!!!!!!!Long Live The Bacon Sarnie.Allelujah

Quote:
Again the PC nutters are in action, The parents should well kick off and say something, How do you make a PC pizza, It is nutters like this that make the rest of us racist

fucks sake

iI'm going to make a pizza for a veggie...i know, i'll put meat on it, LOL PUERILE ME AHAHAHAHA. I'm a veggie, I'd just say 'stop being a dick because you're trying to make a pathetic point, and give me a vegetarian pizza'/

jesus wept, it's the much vaunted 'common sense', that's all. Chances are if I gave a pork sandwich to my Islamic friend, he'd say 'er, what?' and politely refuse. I'd of been the cunt for giving it to him.

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!!!!!!

No, it's not ridiculous to tell kids what they can put on a pizza because

1) Some things (baked beans, spam) just DON'T go on pizza
2) You don't put uncooked meat on a pizza
3) You don't put out of date meat on a pizza
4) You need to be shown how to balance ingredients appropriately to make a decent pizza

So that's at least 4 points of telling kids what they can put on a pizza, before we even start on so-called 'PC' issues.

I still can't get over how this is so obviously 'common sense', that paramount virtue amongst the great repressed population.

You don't put meat on a vegetarian pizza. You don't put pork on a pizza for a Muslim. Why? Because they might get offended? If they do, that's their problem, within reason. No, because IT'S FUCKING OBVIOUS AND PUERILE NOT TO ADHERE TO IT.

Oh, come on. That wasn't even a troll. Though the post on the other thread was, to be fair.

Multiple accounts are not allowed, though. Especially not when you're trying to get round a temporary ban.

"I don't want of these PC Pizza's about"

Do they know how idiotic that comment makes them sound?

God, those people with allergies eh? All up in arms about anaphylactic shock, when I was a lad we'd just tell them to get over it. It's basic concern for human health GONE MAD.

Does anyone remember the time when the term "Political Correctness" actually had a meaning, and wasn't just blamed for absolutely everything?

Pizza Hut In POLITICALLY CORRECT PIZZA SHOCK.

Pizza Hut was today criticised for selling Pizza without meat TO AVOID OFFENDING MUSLIMS.

Said Ivor Percycutioncomplex "These ridiculous so called 'vegetarian' pizzas are ridiculous. Why can't these so-called 'vegetarians' and 'muslims' eat Bacon like the rest of us.

Brilliant. :D I couldn't resist posting a modified version of your story on the very right wing Digital Spy forums, with amusing results. Hope you don't mind. Many believed it, especially as I chucked the Pizza picture in with it:
