Also, comments appear to be disabled.
they seem to do that on topics where their readers might shame themselves.

Bloody hell. She's either so thin-skinned she really didn't ought to be out alone, or she's making mischief. Why couldn't she do what anyone else would and tell the shop assistant to grow up?

or reply in kind and ask for a koran because they are printed on thinner paper and therefore much more use in the smallest room (note I wouldn't normally prefer one olde worldy lifestyle guide over another for lavatory purposes but I think the use of unclean to my face in these circumstances would bring on a momentary preference)

The assistant is a cunt. The customer may be overreacting with the whole "not buying from brown people" thing, but the assistant should not be allowed to proselytise or be biased and should be disciplined for this incident. The customer actually comes off pretty well if not for her shitty tone.

I personally don't like selling the Mail to people but I still do it because it's my fucking job.

I wish the PC Brigade could get stupid people banned. Ah, the T&A forum, where the wilfully ignorant go to constantly spread hate and fear of Muslims, fuelled by the Mail, Express, Sun and bnp.org.

Indeed those Newsquest sites are inhabited by the unthinking of the Far Right. Hope the shatreholders and advertisers are proud.

The forum has a tiresome obsession with Muslims/Islam/brown people. There are some out and out racist loons posting. They get banned and reappear as Newsquest has no real means of stopping them as they are absolute amateurs at the old web mullarkey. This week we've had a joke postsed and defended (removed by Newsquest) which was little more than a "Pakis go home" line - emerged from an announcement of a new Islambad service from Leeds Bradford. Apparently the gaining of a long haul route, the airport's only one to my knowledge, is bad news.

English mosques are so extremist they would be banned in Iraq, says Iraqi minister

Not too many comments but what there is is fairly predictable.

What would be illegal in mosques in Iraq, has got Nu Labour's blessing in Britain. It makes you wonder with all of our 'political correctness'. Come on Brown, about turn and get Britain back on course.

I assume he means Muslims have too many rights. Wonder what he would do to rectify that?

Is this a subtle dig at the 'expat' tendency on the Mail site? Maybe not, but it reads exactly like it could be.

'Three Little Pigs CD' banned from Government-backed awards for offending Muslims and builders

The diet of Muslim stories is relentless.

Once again the PC morons are telling us what we can and can't read/watch/do. Whatever happened to CHOICE - if you don't want to do it, read it, watch it or if it offends your religious beliefs - then you DON'T have to do it. But we certainly don't need these fools telling us what we can and can't do.

Terror law in turmoil as judges free 5 British Muslims

Does this story make a lot of the DM readers hypocrites? Constantly harping on about the 'Thought Police' and how it will soon be illegal to just think something but then getting all in a flap over this story. Someone on the news yesterday said it effectively meant you could not be imprisoned for 'thought crimes'. But are the readers happy? Oh no, cos it was Muslims innit?

Utterly disgraceful! Only in the UK would such a softly softly approach be taken.

I like how he thinks citizenship should just be taken away from someone he doesn't like, especially if they have the audacity to be brown.

Man, they have some fancy branches of PC World in Gloucester, it seems. Ivory towers, no less.

DM readers only support freedom to say what they want to hear, not freedom of speech.

Thought that much was clear.

Muslims call for boycott of crisps as they contain traces of alcohol

No comments as yet but I can see which way it would go.

Quote:
Furious Muslims have called for a boycott of many types of Walkers crisps after it emerged that certain varieties contain trace elements of alcohol.

And yet, although they get quotes from a shopkeeper and someone at the Muslim Council of Britain, there is no-one saying Walkers should be boycotted. And although they sound a little put out, I wouldn't describe them as furious. Seems the Mail may be making a fuss out of this.
