Oh no, they've turned the Union flag blue! Team GB models new Olympics 2012 kit designed by Stella McCartney for Adidas

Quote:
The official Team GB kit for the has sparked outrage today - for featuring a blue Union flag.

Designed by Stella McCartney for Adidas, the range, modelled by various athletes including Jessica Ennis, has been themed around a blue and white flag - effectively eliminating the red meant to represent England and Ireland.

Users took to the internet to slam the design, branding the range a 'massive fail' for not sticking to national colours.

Me too, bit of googling and the outrage seems to be 2 comments on a facebook page.

That's because you're an eco-femi-communist who is determined to ruin this once great nation and turn it into the impoverished third world laughing stock of the world.

Hmm... I'm certainly an eco-femi-communist, but if I ruled this "once great nation" I'd do my best to clean it up a bit.

By making the Tories and Lib Dems clean the streets.

With their tongues.

Hmmm kinky, I expect quite a few of those Old Etonians would pay good money for you to dish out that kind of sado-dom treatment.

That's a shame, I was halfway through drawing up a list of names for you to approach.
I was looking forward to you posting the video links on here.

Judging by the comments, the regulars don't seem to like it at all, but they've already been told what to think by the headline.

It looks alright to me, but I think the Mail would only be happy if the kit featured the image of Winston Churchill and each athlete was posing with a Bulldog on a lead.

It's not really my scene, but if a video of George Osborne being humiliated and abused turned up...........well what's not to like?
