Why bother being fair to the Mail? It lifted the woman's story — quotes, pictures and all — from the Mirror. Whatever the Mail paid for it (if anything at all), I doubt she'll see a penny. The Mail chose to buy this story, rather than any of the other trash in the red-tops, with the following intentions in mind: getting its readers to scoff at the idea that an average-looking middle-aged woman could have lots of sex; encouraging scepticism about the existence of 'sex addiction' (and, by extension, any other addictive behaviour that's not dependent on external stimuli); and good old-fashioned slut-shaming. Perhaps the woman was stupid to sell her story; the Mail are definitely cunts to run it.

Incidentally, what's with the tabloids' websites lifting articles from each other, and from the rest of the disreputable media (glossy mags, porn mags, E4, etc)? Defenders of the British press are always banging on about how vibrant and competitive it is. Then how come the comics have started copy-pasting each other's stories? Probably the first effect of a proper privacy law would be the closure of half of the national newspapers. I doubt we'd miss them. There are too many, as it is, that follow exactly the same model, publishing exactly the same stories.

I'm getting at the woman actually. She took the "story" to the tabloids for some reason. If the story arouse because the paps had been stalking her, I'dd be the first to condemn the media.

He may well be working in binary.

(1100 = 9)

Even so, that's probably including the rubber ones.

Dunno if this belongs in here. It's about sex on tv.

Is this from a so-called member of Mailwatch?

I thought of this the other day when Tebbit was on the radio. He was asked about his views on gay marriage, and his instant answer was that "we must think about the children"!

What fekkin' children?

Obviously not those brainwashed by the media and religion, nor those abused by 'respected' members of the Church.

The children gay couples would be legally obliged to adopt and subject to a brainwashing program of Will and Grace, Broadway musicals and rigidly choreographed "ramming down throats" obviously...

I think what he must've meant is "children of gay people will obviously be relentlessly bullied by small-minded twats like me, therefore they shouldn't be allowed"
