The amnesia of voters is something that can always be relied on, however. Two or three years down the line most people will have forgotten things weren't always as they will be by then. Boy, that's a complicated set of tenses in that sentence. Glad I don't have to translate it into Latin.

So Davis would be unelected then, in much the same Brown was. You only seem to favour democray when the result suits you.

Far too subtle, their heads will rotate as they try to decide on red or green arrows...

True. Plus, we now have the televised debates factor. Come April 2015, the previous 4 and a half years will count for nowt for Ed Miliband if the only thing he does wrong during that time is have a bad hour or so in the 1st of the tv debates. And Cameron and Clegg will have experience over him. In fact, Clegg probably isn't arsed at all what happens in the next 4 and a half years. He'll put in another cracking performance, have everyone eating out the palm of his hand again, and get back all the disenchanted Lib Dem voters from last May.

To be fair the Mail (or rather, its owners Associated Newspapers) is one of the organisations protesting about Murdoch's proposed buyout of BSkyB, so we can probably expect to see a few more stories along these lines.

No. I reckon Cameron will get awya with it - he's doing what revolting Tories do. Clegg's fucked though.

Yeah. Clegg's been found out now. The title of that well-known Who song springs to mind. "The Kids are Alright". Erm, no, sorry, meant "Won't Get Fooled Again" . :)

Could be interesting to see what happens if Cameron goes ahead with the suggested cut in the cold weather allowance. Can any self-respecting Lib Dem really support that?

Especially now. I still feel dirty. Won't be doing that again. Although the alternative is that I have to place an X in the box next to Hazel Blears' name. Which isn't a great deal more conducive to feeling good about oneself.

I've got a future perfect of a deponent verb (obliti erint), followed by indirect statement, which means an infinitive. I think a perfect infinitive (fuisse). Then I suppose there's sometime of subjunctive in "as they will be by then"- present subjunctive?

Can anyone do any better?
