At last, someone has found a proper use for Facebook in using it to catching stupid criminals... rather than the Child Grooming Pedophiles and such like that usually frequent it. Funny thing but these days if anyone in a room of people announces that they have a Facebook account, parents start clutching their children close and whispering things in their ear whilst staring at the announcer.

You move in very strange circles, Yuri. Incidentally, aren't you dead?

Does Yuri think Facebook was run with the intention of allowing paedophiles to groom children?

Well, I can imagine it being confusing to him, what with him having died in the mid-twentieth century and all.

Also, since most would have no idea where Levin is in New Zealand, why specify your location in relation to it?

Facebook is suing the Mail (possibly) over another 'Facebook Grooming' headline.

I like how they seem to think it would have been less tragic had she NOT gone to a public school, judging by how they keep mentioning it.

Seems the pupils behaviour helped lead to her death. Had the other children been at a comp the Mail would have told us "Feral Youths/Hoodies/Yobs Drive Nice Upper Middle Class Girl To Death"

Teenage mother escapes jail after baby drowned in bath while she checked Facebook

Don't get me wrong, it was a pretty stupid thing to do, and she now has to live with what happened - hopefully though, the Mail will just be as damning towards, say, any middle class couple who leave their toddler alone with baby twins in a Portuguese holiday apartment whilst they trot off for some drinks.

Oh, wait.

Some delightful comments, as always.

Well for starters, schools should bring back basic home studies, (or whatever todays term is) so they have some idea on how to look after a baby, maybe also how to cook with real food instead of just opening a packet or getting a take-a-way. I know this will seem very basic to some, but to those who have no idea what raising children means, it could be a life saver. - Alan, Huddersfield, 4/3/2011 17:23 I don't think the feminists and atheists would allow that, it's sexist and un-PC according to them.
- Sean, Manchester, 4/3/2011 22:51 +144

Feminists and atheists now apparently don't believe in having domestic skills.

Sean from Manchester is well-known in feminist circles, where he is known as 'misogynist bastard'.

Love to know how being atheist somehow means you would be against 'life skills' being taught at school :?

I don't suppose that pointing out to Sean, Manchester (what? The vampire hunter?) Jamie Oliver, Sam Stern and Nigel Slater (among others) have all made a packet out of pointing out how chicks dig it if you can cook would do any good.
