Toff their heads! Cambridge students pass out on pavements and stagger about in top hats and ball gowns after £215 ball

And events from past years suggest that David Cameron might still have a long way to go to tackle Britain’s ‘binge drinking’ culture.

Actually I'd be pretty surprised if Cameron gets judgemental about a bunch of toffs getting leathered in dinner jackets and top hats...

I've got to say, some of the pics look a bit staged...

Is there a Darwinian version of Godwin's Law?

Quote:
'...the same streets once trodden upon by eminent scscholars such as Sir Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin.' - Ahh, Charles Darwin. The celebrated but deadly nincompoop who, having once convinced people that they were simply the product of time plus chance (and thus led an existence that was essentially accidental and meaningless), gave us this kind of immoral, uncontrolled and existentialist behaviour as a result. Thanks, Charlie, for helping to set humanity on the path to self-destruction. Both the Bolsheviks and the Nazis, who embraced your theory with enthusiasm, have no doubt also shown their appreciation to you down in that more-than-hot place you all finally met up in!

I despise Isaac Newton because people fall downstairs.

And Hitler took advantage of the law of gravity to throw Jewish people into gas chambers. Bastard, that Newton.

The Nazis enthusiastically burned "On the Origin of Species"
The Soviets where much keener on the Lamarkian school of thought.

These are matters of inarguable historic fact.

Well, I don't somehow think that John White will give a great deal for that foolish line of thinking. Facts! Pah, he shits them.

I once raised these points to a fellow of the born again persuasion making a similar argument. His response was to hoot derisively that one could "prove anything with FACTS". To be honest, probably why they stick in my head.

Chap was a piece of work, really. In a funny way I'm glad I met him, as he taught me a lot about how to deal with blinkered, bigoted shitehawks.

Thousands of youngsters are expected to flock to the seaside town to mark the end of their exams, and to get DRUNK and have SEX!

BTL class 50+ sat by the full Inspector Morse style drinks cabinet reading their delivered real copy of the Mail: "Nooooooooooooooooooooooo "

"alcohol and coast are a dangerous combination" good God   :?
