The breathless tone of the article is ridiculous (albeit funny). Moron after moron after moron, about sums up the comments.

What crap. The whole thing seems to have been doomed from the start regardless of Cam's existence. I can't say I care, but it does irritate me when they print this sort of emotive bollox to wind up their loyal readers.

They seem to be blissfully unaware of the irony of their own position, being pro-monarchy, but wanting to pick and choose who gets to be in the top jobs.

Wasn't it Chris Evans who pointed out recently (about the same subject) that as it's a constitutional monarchy and not Big Brother, people don't get to have a say in the succession?

I know Sir Dara has expressed that on MtW several times.
