They really have it in for him today - 3 stories on the front page of the website at the mo, all against Brown.

Blair: 'Disappointing Brown could never beat Cameron in a General Election'
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/a ... =1770&ct=5

Lord Levy's book: 'Mandelson's telling people I'm gay... and I am NOT GAY', says Brown
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/a ... ge_id=1770

Pressure mounts for Gordon Brown as TWO polls reveal Tories are headed for a massive win at the next general election

This is only really because I think the MoS has got some special access thing with Lord Levy, hence they can reveal all this new crap about how Blair thinks Brown is a tosser and all its readers can agree, but not too much because Blair sold this country out and took the "Great" out of Britain

It's too late to even think about working out those poll figures but they sound slightly dubious espically as the ICM was only polling Labour at 5% behind the Tories last week.

Plus if it's a poll of Marginal seats then surely because they are swing seats the tories will poll higher in them anyhow as they were probably traditional tory seats.

10% lead doesn't state 131 seats mind, 19% Yougov was suggesting sometime last week will probably hand you a swing of that kind.

Well congratulation Mr McBroon, you have single handedly completely screwed this country and any pitiful excuses which you may bleat will have little impact on the electorate other than to bray for your blood. Prudent, in a pig's ear!

I blame Gordon Brown for worldwide raw material prices and for the 80 percent increase in crude oil, as well as for the weather while we're at it.

I don't think the mail mods think it's a serious comment, I think they think that a lot of readers will see it as a serious comment.

I'd bet a month's wages that someone could find a way to blame Brown for the weather.

Funny you should say that: my colleague claimed yesterday that as Nu Laybur had taxed everything else, they would be taxing fresh air next. She regularly has to read the Mail as part of her job: I think it's getting to her.

Surely a Elf & Safety risk assessment would prevent somebody having to read the Mail as part of their job.

Perhaps because she also has to read the Telegraph and Guardian, it was felt that the negative effects on her mental health of reading the Mail would balance out. However, I strongly suspect that a few years of regularly reading the Mail will have her whimpering in the foetal position under her desk, where the immigrants and gays can't get at her.

There is NO balance with the Daily Mail. Has your colleague considered a call the Injury Lawyers Direct?

The end of the affair: Dacre moves towards Cameron

Middle England's favourite editor and the dour PM made unlikely political bedfellows. Now, Paul Dacre's Daily Mail is finally signalling a shift from Gordon Brown to David Cameron's Tories

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/media ... 72278.html

If the Mail have been for Brown what the hell is it going to be like now they are against him.

Its not going to be pretty, that much we can bet on.

But yeah, I had heard Dacre was a little soft on Brown, especially when compared to his hatred of Blair. Monday should be interesting.
