Oh great. So this penniless country can now look forward to another influx of health tourists. Why don't they just deport foreigners that have HIV ? I bet that's what other countries do.

why not just send them back its not curable,why should we have infected people,it came from abroad anyway,as if we can afford it,it just shows this goverment is lying about funds when we can give this treatment out.

How great is our largesse. I predict that half of Africa will turn up here while our own UK citizens will be denied cancer treatment, knee and hip replacements etc. This is NOT a "race" issue it is what I am paying taxes for, and it is not to minister to the populations of foreign countries whose governments are more interested in lining their own pockets with our "aid". Why donesn't Britain simply advertise for the Aids sufferers, terrorists, Somali and Ethiopians with 12 kids a family to walk right in for free housing, health money etc. Of course anyone born in Britain (regardless of cultural background) can expect to have medical treatment refused so that the NHS can pay for these people.

The article fails to mention that this change will bring us into line with the rest of the EU which altready offers free HIV treatment. But don't let facts get in the way of a sensational headline.

This is brilliant news , if only there was more multiculturism in the English villages and rural communities the icing would be on the cake, the children of Britain have so much to look forward to. More tolerance on the behalf of the majority is needed and less prejudice........

Wasn't your English good enough to enable you to read the article? They ARE all speaking English - and, judging by the results that the school is achieving, rather better than many ethnic majority children.

If they don't speak English as a first language presumably they speak it as a second. How many indigenous children can speak two languages?

You also forgot to mention that a worker can not leave Qatar unless their employer permits them to leave... normally not an issue but surely against ones human rights regarding freedom of movement? That's the only negative comment I have to say about the place. Getting alcohol is not a problem and they have recently started selling pork at the local drinks shop. There is almost no crime here, the weather is good and the pay is tax free although there isn't a great deal to do on your days off apart from slumming it in 5 star hotels... it certainly beast Grimsby where I used to work. Come on over as there is nothing left for you in the UK...there are lots of opportunities here if you have the skills.
