Well, in 1950s land women didn't have abortions or babies out of wedlock, despite tonnes of evidence to the contrary. It's not that crazy if viewed from a no sex before marriage lens. It's the fail's stance on sex ed that pisses me off most. It hates abortion and underage pregnancies, but doesn't want the kind of sex ed the Dutch have that would reduce both these things

Oooh does it involve lots of face-rubbing, throat-ramming, gay-agenda pornography and hardcore BDSM lessons for toddlers?

New sex education should be that if young/any males impregnants a child/woman under age or over and has no intention of remaining as a husband to the lady, their testicles should be removed, this surely will get the message across rapidly. The cost of free abortions are causing further debt to a bankrupt country. How much one wonders do venerial treatments cost us all?
All in all decent Christians are again being ripped off by feral and heathen sexual acitivty

So, 89 teenagers have had multiple abortions, and naturally that's the fault of the sex ed, as though going back to the days when there was no sex ed and people still got pregnant is an improvement. I'm sorry, but I've seen too many old and middle aged women saying things like "When I went into hospital to have my first, I still wasn't sure what was going to happen or how" to think that no sex ed at all is a good thing. And the contradictory messages we give out about sex in this country really aren't helping.

I first thought that she had to be a crank, then I read it again, and realised that no, mail believing christians really do fail that hard. Heathen sex! Every time a Christian makes a baby they are indulging in pagan practices and are going to hell! The worst thing is, I bet I could become a celeb on the christian fundawhackjob circuit by publishing a book proposing such a viewpoint

Can anybody remember a TV programme shown on Channel 4 back in 2007 about how Christian fundamentals used some MP's to advance their intrests in the Commons?,some of the filming took place during when MP's had the chance again to cut the abortion limit from 24-weeks to 18,I think it was?,some of the footage centered on that crazy Tory MP Nadine Dorries who had a campagin to cut the Abortion limit, and who was being backed by Christian groups but by the Mail and Amanda Platell, ring any bells on here? :?

I have come to the view that abortion is a Catch-22 issue where no matter which side of the argument you are on be it pro or anti you are always going to feel that you are on the wrong side no matter how hard you justify it in your head. :|

That's because it's something no-one wants to do, but sometimes they have to. No winners.

I know what I think is the correct approach, but it is not pleasant and should not be treated lightly.

Er, I think abortion should be allowed by choice, limited by time unless it's a serious threat to the mother's life - full consultation with doctor(s) et al. But it's not pleasant and should not (I don't think it seriously is by 99.9% of people) be treated as an expediency.

From what I've seen the majority of comments on abortion-related stories tend to be pro-choice, and the DM itself would never take a definite stance on the issue for fear of pissing off a large group of its readers...

Can anybody on here tell me what The Mail's stand on abortion is?,I ask because they really seemed to want the 24-hour limit cut when it came up for a vote in 2007,yet they really don't like the thought of abortion places being firebombed judging from that article that was in the Mail a few weeks ago on abortion violence in America but given how they don't abortion anyway I would thought that would have been up their street, any thoughts? :?
