According to Private Eye, Desmond personally ordered that they take away the desk from some show presented by two pretty women. They're now sitting there with legs "up to here".

Sounds like it could be "Live at Studio 5" but I wouldn't know for sure, and neither would anyone else, cos no fucker watches it.

Didn't take him long. Ink still wet on the contract.

I would think Red Hot Cum would be rather uncomfortable for both the providers and the, erm, recipients, sluts or not.

Here's some vintage Desmond-owned stuff, quoted by Francis Wheen:

Quote:
"It's hard to believe that we found Shaheeda in the slums of Bombay in India. She was begging on the streets so we offered her $100 to strip for us... We gave Shaheeda an extra $100 because she let all of us fuck her. We are trying to arrange for her to go to America and become a major porno movie star. Watch this space."

I find the Daily Express advert slightly creepy for some reason I can't fathom- "we stand for fair play/good manners, we don't stand in the way of progress" etc. Their idea of fair play being to present all Muslims as extremists and potential terrorists to name just one of countless possible examples.
And I notice on the folded up copy of the Express at the end of the ad you can make out the headline INHERITANCE TAX.

I suppose that the following wouldn't go down too well:

"We stand for incarcerating children who have committed no crimes."

"We stand for stirring up racial hatred."

"We stand for making serious accusations and insinuations against innocent people."

"We stand for ignoring and bypassing industry codes of conduct to further our own ends."

"That's why we read the Daily Express."

Branded a "forthright and chatty" news magazine show, Live from Studio Five was initially hosted by Walsh, former model Melinda Messenger and ex-footballer Ian Wright.

Not exactly a major loss really

I like to watch the Wright Stuff on Channel Five while I eat my brekkie. Yeah I know it doesn't start until 9.15 but I'm self employed. They do a newspaper review and used to take the piss out of the Express and rarely quoted a story from it until a few months before the takeover. There's no brown nosing as such now but they no longer take the micky and have at least one story from the Express every day. Mind you, the Mail gets a disproportionate amount of coverage and they do take the piss out of it.

"Even celebrity guests such as Myleene Klass and former pop star Liz McClarnon couldn't entice viewers."

Understatement of the year
