But surely he gets something for the blazer, the medals, and the defiantly folded arms?

And the badges.

Interestingly, he doesn't seem to be wearing the Korean War campaign medal ribbon. Could be wrong, it's hard to see.

The photo' didn't work. Maybe they changed it?

I'd give it 7/10 for having an over-acting child. Should have been photographed outside the school though.

I think this is a 6/10. Scores for being a wronged OAP and standing outside the shop, but he's not even holding a poppy. The photographer could have scored more points if he'd found some grandchildren to put in the shot as well. Frowning children are always a bonus.

I'm not sure he is standing outside the shop. Looks like he's been 'shopped to me.

Between 4 and six weeks off school?! I did the same injury and was back playing Rugby in 4 weeks, it hurts like a beast for a week but its pretty quick to heal, specially in a child her age!

I think she gets a point for the totally unnecessary but cutesy pyjamas worn in broad daylight. You don't have to retire to bed just because you've broken your arm. It must have been quite painful changing into her jimjams for the photographer.

They also get a point for having mirror-image hair

Do all mail snappers carry a bag of nettles and a bottle of piss?

Burns victim's amazement after NHS hospital staff wrap blistered his hand in a TESCO freezer bag

Apart from a non-story the headline makes no sense either.

Would he rather they hadn't treated it at all?

Anyway, nice 'You couldn't make it up' expression and pose there. 6/10.

I'm glad he pointed to his hand with the bag on - I'd have had no idea which one of his hands it was otherwise.
