I was in hospital with Dengue fever last week (I caught it off the lodger who's a immagrunt) and they cooled my sweating brow with a moist Andrex bumwipe. And they cured my corns by putting my foot in the office shredder.

Here's another one from today:

Some standard article about wheelie bin madness. There seems to be an abundance of randomly placed vertical and horizontal lines in the photo for some unknown reason. I'll leave the marking to someone else.

3/10 - that's not a sad face, she's smirking (or could be another Couldn't Make It Up face), and points also knocked off for wearing a terrible outfit, because I'm a nasty little prick.

The three points are for showing the bins and bags in her actual garden.

Is this the one from Shropshire where she volunteered to be in a trial?

She and her husband Brian, from Church Aston, Shropshire, also have a second green wheelie bin which they requested to help them keep the back garden tidy.

She reminds me of the tarty wife of Dave Angel off The Fast Show.

'You can't burn tyres here, it's national trust property babes!'

Must say though, how do the council determine the difference between food waste and kitchen waste :?

Surely kitchen waste that isn't food is just normal waste?

One can be composted (uncooked, no meat) and the other can't.
We save compostable food waste - teabags, coffee pods, peelings, uncooked veg scraps of all sorts. Not eggshells, oh no, not eggshells. Made that mistake once. You buy the little bins from Sainsburys here. They even sell compostable bags to go in them, which is a bit weird.
Our council just takes all the recyclables in one big green bin, we put green garden stuff in bags provided. It isn't onerous. Our general waste bin this week had 4 carrier bags of rubbish in it, including non-compostible food waste.

They don't compost. And they look obscene when they come out.
I do put woodshavings and sawdust in, though.

I use them in my compost, although I do have to smush them up a bit when they come out.

This one has to score pretty highly, we have middle-class dance teacher bravely returning to the scene and clutching her two sons close to stop them feeling scared by the memory. They even managed to get one of the kids to actually look terrified:

The story? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1322167/Mother-feeding-ducks-park-shocked-warden-tells-Dont-feed-white-bread--healthy-wholemeal.html

Edited to tidy up link and correct profession :)
