When Kate Moss was pictured snorting cocaine she promised to clean up her act - starting with a temporary split from her junkie boyfriend Pete Doherty.
Now after lurid photos appeared of the singer injecting the same Class A drug into his arm, it seems history is repeating itself.
I have to admit - I'm not sure. Can you inject cocaine? I have no idea due to my terribly middle class and sheltered upbringing. Or is it the Mail talking bollocks?
Well, it's kind of bollocks - very misleading anyway - for them to say this, because she was snorting regular cocaine, whereas if he was injecting cocaine it would most likely have been crack. True, they're techinically the same drug, but so different as to effects and levels of addictiveness they're generally considered as separate substances when conducting studies, compiling stats etc.
As far as I know you can inject crack (you can inject most stuff I guess). But it's quite rare. So they may well have got their facts wrong.
Ok, someone come and correct me, I pulled all that out of a very vague knowledge from a drugs project about 10 years ago!
PS Coke
is a middle class drug - us poor folks had to stick to budget smack. So no excuses!
