Hari's support for the Iraq War (since recanted) got him a lot of enemies.

Mostly it seems to be people who don't understand Keynesian economics.

Fair nuff, just you two were the only ones that seemed critical of him, whereas Malc seemed to be making out it was loads more.

As far as I am concerned Hari could ritually slaughter kittens on live tv and I would still love him.The littlejohn interview is the best thing on youtube.

Added for those who have not seen it.

As far as Keysian economics goes the major objection seemed to be it caused inflation. Not exactly our greatest problem at the moment.

Loads More as in 'some'?

Morden - you said
Quote:
I don't agree with it all. Still puzzled how you can spend your way out of recession when there is so little to spend due to not 'slashing and burning' the NHS.

Doesn't look like agreeing to me - or understanding the basis of Keynesian economics...

Looks pissed off to me...

Allowed to avoid doing something that is mandatory for other people. From military usage, where a serviceman with a foot condition was allowed to attend parade and execute other duties in soft shoes rather than boots. (Wiki)

Say whaaaaaaaa?

When Liz Jone's article thing kicked off yesterday on the interwebs I thought I'd see what Johann Hari had to say about it -

Quote:
@JackMerlin Liz is a friend of mine. Lay off!
http://twitter.com/johannhari101

I thought "He must be joking" so I googled Johann Hari Liz Jones and it came up with this column he had written http://www.johannhari.com/2007/05/26/in ... -liz-jones

Say whaaaaaaaaa?

Johann Hari has gone down in my estimations.
