A.K.A free plug for Ancestry.co.uk

Of course, the (unmoderated) Mailista comments are as charming as expected when given a golden opportunity to spout bollocks about the good old days and t.v makeovers...

Of course you'll never see any Muslim women arrested for that... Persecuted middle class white men blah blah blah.

Given how easy it is for PR departments to put out press releases and plant shite like this in national papers, I'm surprised they even bother paying for adverts any more.

Sir Alex or Sarah?

Either fits in well with the advertising slogan "What's the worst that could happen".

vicki, newcastle appears to be having an argument with a fictional character from The Simpsons in the comments.

Is this reality TV going too far? Real Housewives Of Orange County shows couple romping naked in a bath together

The pearl-clutching stance laid out in the headline might be easier to take, were it not for the seven photographs and teaser trailer that follow. The article signs off with this give-away phrase:

Quote:
The next episode, three from series six, in on March 27 on Bravo.

Is it really this easy for PR agencies to get their shite promoted in the national press.

This is odd, since there is no more Bravo in the UK (Sky shut it down after buying the channel from Virgin Media. Hmp.). So they are advertising the US broadcast of it. Huh....

Shows the extent of the checking that they do on these PR pieces that seemingly get chosen at random. Mind you, the DM site is quite popular in the US because of all the Heat style paparazzi shite involving US celebs, so it could be just a shameless attempt to broaden their appeal.

Excellent comment from Guybrush. I made a similar one but it didn't get through:

Is it too far DM??? Well why not put up the video and photos to outrage people even further!!

Christ, if they've mentioned the manufacturer once they've mentioned it a hundred times.

Playboy

Who'd have thought it eh, say 15 years back, that one day in the not too distant future, the prim and proper moral guardians of Middle-England would be plugging Playboy? :D

DM running stories promoting sales of Playboy? How rare.

I do hope Playboy don't return the favour by featuring an article on Liz Jones. (Apologies if that mental image means you need to clean your keyboard.)

Quite the opposite!
Any possible keyboard cleaning is now postponed for at least a week.
