"Uniquely for a suspicious death, no coroner’s inquest has been held"

"Dr Kelly left no suicide note and had arranged to meet his daughter on July 17, 2003, the day he was last seen alive"

"On the morning of his death, he booked a return ticket to Iraq in connection with his work"

I posted a reply in support of the most sensible comment I could find.

"The Tories are now in power and have access to all the medical evidence, forensic evidence and security evidence. The Tory Attorney General has all the paperwork and he has concluded that he won't have a further investigation unless significant new evidence comes to light. If there was anything sinister don't you think that the Tories would have great pleasure in burying New Labour? Mrs Kelly and her family are content with the outcome of the Hutton Inquiry and do not want an inquest. Don't you think that if they were unhappy with the conclusions they would be demanding a coroner's inquest?
- Neil, Wales, 14/5/2011 8:16 ---------------------------Well said Neil. There are people posting on here whose hatred of Blair has blinded them to any sense of reason to the point that they believe that the Tories are conspiring in a cover up to protect Blair. Can anyone give me one reason why they would want to do that? Jim Durham"

The conspiracy theorists remind me of those that believe the moon landings were faked and the USSR colluded with the USA, at the height of the cold-war, to cover up the deception.

I wonder why the Mail is happy to stoke up conspiracy theories over David Kelly while totally rubbishing any conspiracy claims about the death of Diana?

No need for inquest on Dr Kelly says PM, leading to anger as Cameron appears to pre-judge review

Most of the comments under the story seem to be attacking Cameron but there are also quite a few trying to make out that the family want the case looked at again, I can't say I've seen much evidence to back up this claim apart from one of his cousins once saying something after being badgered by the Mail for a quote.

They're off!

Maily conspiracy nutter story

And interesting that the Mail had uncovered FURY within 5 minutes of the statement being made. Odd that.

I thought Grieve did pretty well. I see that the Hon Member for Lewes was not in the chamber...

The Hon Member for Lewes relies on the DM for his version of the facts.

Quote:
The family of Dr Kelly do not want any further action taken, if they thought there was any doubt, they would be calling for another inquest. Dr Frost wants a public fund set up to cover legal costs should he lose. He does not sound very confident does he.

David Cameron and the Tories are desperate to cover this up to protect his friends in the Labour party including Blair and McBroon because the Tories were even more keen on the illeagal war than most Labour MPs.

How sad is Wally that he now defines his entire existence by reference to hanging around reading this site?

"Sorry Tom. You knew Dr Kelly, but you are speculating and it doesn't explain all the loose ends so forensically documented in Norman Baker's book. Kelly knew so much he was a threat to the control freak Blair establishment. And is it coincidence that Robin Cook, the ethical foreign policy fan, also met a mysterious death?

"So what if you were his friend Tom, I read about him in The Daily Mail"

Do we need to start a new thread for Robin Cook conspiracy theories?

Jools please pop round when you have a minute, my windows are filthy and could do with a good lick.

Doctors unleash legal challenge over inquest Dr David Kelly never had

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... y-had.html

I wonder why the family are not pushing for this?
