Andrew Pierce from the Mail. Jumped up little prick with a self-righteous air that makes me want to punch him.

Turns out Toby Young did get the go ahead to open his independant school in Ealing. Expect many more mentions of the utter cockface in this topic in the coming months.

This is Andrew Bridgen MP. He said that the government's health policy shouldn't be toned down by concessions to "Stalinists".

Image

He's parroting the "this will save £5bn" stuff, unconvincingly.

Digby Jones: rent-a-gob.

Link also features Fraser Nelson saying he's "in favour of avoiding tax as far as possible. We believe that people spend their own money far more effectively than the government spends it for them, and if you give the government more money than you need to it just encourages them. … We would encourage our readers to use every available means to keep legally as much money as they can."

How can someone have that out there in the public domain and look at themselves in a mirror?

"I'm a selfish bastard and proud of it. Fuck you for not being me."

Do people realise that others feel disgust when they spout of like this? I suspect not. I suspect they assume everyone shares their egocentricity.

I think that explains Nargle Fargle's permanently bemused expression.

I'll hazard a guess that Toby Young has already been included, but this photo has a tremendously large quota of slapability.

He looks a bit like a younger, smugger Phil Mitchell.

I don't pay any more tax than I need to, as most people don't. But someone like Nelson, and his audience, is a different class of not paying more than they need. They can do all kinds of shit the rest of us mugs can't do.

I assume he's referring to all types of questionable shit. Otherwise, there's no point in saying what he's saying. People don't usually think "fuck it, I won't use my personal allowance".

The only people who seem to advocate (outside of the increasingly rare working class tory) that the laffer curve kicks in at lower rates, are the insanely rich like Fraser Nelson.

It's actually Digby Jones in the programme who makes the case for a flat tax at 15-18%. (I can't remember whether he's talking about corporate or personal income tax, or all taxes combined; I can't face listening to it again to find out.) He claims that Gordon Brown agreed with this, but wouldn't put it into practice for political reasons. I think Jones may well be entering the realm of fantasy here. I understood the peak of the Laffer curve to be above 50%.

Jones' most impressive achievement in his achingly undistinguished career is, I think, to get himself ridiculed by the left and the right in equal doses.

Is Nelson insanely rich? He's just a hack. I'm sure he's doing okay for himself but it seems more like he's doing the bidding for his rich friends than making a fortune for himself. See also: Delingpole, James: cunt.
