I found a hair fetishist on the internet who pays ME to cut my hair.*

Ironically, you probably could find a hair fetishist online who would pay you to cut your hair. :)

I cut my own hair. Put it into a pony tail, bring out the scissors - then they presto! Saved myself some money*

*At the expense of my dignity though.

The article on the face of it seems to be a comparison but after reading it I think the aim is to elicit the reader's sympathy to the southerners. Who's starting the whip round for the Sewells then? They've had to "surrender their £75 a month gym membership" damn it!!

Distracted by the NoTW stuff, I've been slow to recognise the breaking news in this story.

It's the opening of the Schism between the (good worthy hardworking) southern private sector and the (subsidised lazy unaffordable) northern public sector.

Ah diddums... maybe if the Sewells hadn't gone on holiday so often in the past, had only one child or sell one of their cars they could maybe maintain their living standards?

How watching Newsnight, stilted conversations and jibes about the in-laws could sound death knell for middle class marriages

Unmoderated.

We should be alright. Never watch Newsnight. Can`t stand Paxman, or anything else on the Pinko broadcasters programmes.

Staying up to watch Newnight? Is that a euphamism for staying up late to watch the free ten minutes/have a fapp at the DM sidebar?

The Mail hasn't twigged that the blog on which these findings are based is supposed to be humorous. It's a bit like running a story about Daily Mail Island as if it were a real place.

From the comments -

Quote:
The only thing we argue about is my liking the Guardian and other half still content with the Mail. Yesterday's headlines changed that thank goodness! So I have won - the money is now spent today on Paper version of Guardian and freebie glance via the internet of the Mail! JP Newsnight - we both watch but separately!
