Patrick Collins interviewed Greaves and copped one of his rants. Collins printed it in full. But also came across as liking Greaves when he wasn't going off on one. A really good article.

It's in a book unfortunately. As is Collins' other finest hour, his review of Duncan Fletcher's awful biography.

Stand-off in Hackney right now, near the Empire. JD Sports copped it again.

'Keep calm and carry on' reaction of the day:

Quote:
Declare martial law and close down the internet, and mobile phone communications. Bring in the Army and RAF Regiment, and impose a curfew.

I see Kate would see herself as an arm chair PM.....

One that would probably cause more harm than good.

You could call a curfew now. It wouldn't make any difference at all.

For some reason, CiF seems to be more full of idiots than usual:

The context is that there are too many young shit witted men who think the world owes them a living. The police must be merciless with these dumb bastards. Rubber bullets at the very least.

Rioting, especially the type of vandalism & looting we've seen in London, is a sure sign that the social contract is unravelling around the edges. In the days and weeks and months to come, we shall see how far it has frayed.

These no mark criminal scrotes and toerags had better hope it does not unravel enough so that really nasty bastards like me and my friends decide to go rounding up as many as we can get our hands on and showing them how we think the police ought to be treating them.

I expect that vigilante man's been on more than one site telling us about his mates who're going to sort it out.

I wonder if Littledong will be giving us his "eye-witness" account of the riots tomorrow?

There's a Tottenham link for him.

He must know the area well from all those home games he attends.
