Sounds like something Littlejohn would come up with.

Looks to be an adaptation of the Chav's Prayer:

Quote:
Our Father, who art in prison,

even mum knows not His name,

thy chavdom come

you'll read The Sun,

In Exmouth which is in Devon

Give us this day our welfare bread,

and forgive us our ASBOs

as we happy slap those who got ASBOs against us

lead us not into employment

but deliver us free housing

for thine is the chavdom,

the burberry and the Bacardi,

for ever and ever

Our Kevin

I'm expecting to see it doing the rounds on Facebook shortly.

That 'prayer' seems a tad unfair given the broad mix of those involved.

Listened to a radio show about graduates unable to get work in Europe. The situation does look to be a tad hopeless..... However if your the 'I'm alright Jack' Mail reader type then situations like those really are the fault of other people....

Tory councillor suspended after calling rioters 'jungle bunnies'

Out of touch doesn't even begin to cover it.

Indeed. I suspect he's one of those people who still insist on calling Zimbabwe 'Rhodesia'

Quite.
There's already a discussion of this story on the racism thread.

The Guardian's data blog of who's been charged for offences related to the riots is going to be a useful tool for dispelling a lot of the crap emanating from the Mail, the government and the police. So far, there's a big discretion concerning the ages of offenders: the Met claims that half were under 18 years old, but that's three times higher than the figures from the courts. In fact, so far, more than half of the defendants have been aged 18-24 — pretty much demolishing the argument that liberal/overwhelmed parents were letting school-age children roam the streets en masse.

Revealed: Cameron supercop’s company mired in bugging and hacking allegations

In the week that newspaper hacking exploded back onto the front pages, it has emerged that the company run by David Cameron’s American crime tsar, Bill Bratton, is mired in a British court case accused of illegal bugging and hacking

Is Cameron picking these people on purpose!?

According to the BBC the mother who was given five months for accepting a pair of looted shorts has had the sentence reduced to 75 hours community service on appeal. First of many I suspect.

Yeah, and cases of eviction chucked out by the courts.
