They promised to live with a little more ‘glamour’ after winning £101million on the Lottery. The early signs are that it might take a bit of work.

Clutching a pint of lager and smoking a cigarette, Britain’s newest multi-millionaire Dave Dawes was pictured taking a break during a shopping trip to the designer stores in London’s Bond Street this week.
The former factory worker wore a Chelsea football shirt under a white cardigan, and displayed his signet rings over fingers tattooed with ‘love’ and ‘hate.’

To be fair, I'm not surprised that DM reporters are bitter about it. Can you imagine if one of them won the multi-million jackpot? Storming into Dacre's office, telling him to go fuck himself? Doesn't sound too bad, considering...

Staff at the Mail who have to work with Richard Littlejohn will be well aware that no amount of money can buy class.

Even multimillionaires love a bargain! £101m Lotto couple Dave and Angie Dawes hit the high street sales

Of course they have. How dare these frigging scummers who are not "people like us" win such an obscene amount - well, any amount at all, really.

Taking publicity for lottery wins means you're indirectly helping tabloid writers do their work*. They can't write about you if they don't know you exist. Surely the best reason to decline it you'd think.

Edit; *I'm using the word "work" very loosely there.
