Read another paper if all this upsets you that much.
When you all leave college and start paying a bit of tax, you'll end up loving Littlejohn like the rest of us.
The great tragedy of most Left-leaning people (for them) is that most come from well-to-do families and don't have a clue about what so-called 'real' people think. It's all about guilt and probably psychological damage bought about from long traumatic nights of fagging duty at public school.
Littlejohn may be a little pompous, but he speaks up for what those of us who work hard and live in areas blighted by law and order issues (Wythenshawe, in my case) actually think.
And he's funny.
Am now off for a night of poovery down Canal Street... (Wow! Some minority groups can actually take a joke! Reflect.) [/img]
Gosh Gareth, I suppose that living in Wythenshawe must make you an expert on crime, no crime happens anywhere else in Manchester.
I'd hate to play the "Waah, I had it tough card" but I lived on Ruskin Avenue in Moss Side for sometime, where the Gooch Gang had a safe house and a rather large number of guns on the property. Thankfully they all got arrested and charged with murder and are now in prison. I lso managed to work, pay taxes and move house to liberal Chorlton where the gay men and women haven't internalised the homophobia of people like Littlejohn
Sorry to disappoint you by having not been to public school, I grew up in Rochdale in a single parent household, we just didn't have the money for school fees. That's why I'm left leaning, the Tory party and people like Littlejohn demonised my family and thanks to Section 28 I spent a long time thinking being attracted to women as well as men meant something was wrong with me. I'm never going to find anything appealing about people who think I don't deserve full human rights.
Please don't assume that just because you stopped taxing your brain the day you started paying tax, that we all did.
