Now forecasters warn that the fog blanketing most of the country is set to continue – and some areas could even see snow within a matter of days.

Positive Weather Solutions again. I'm beginning to think it deserves its own topic.

Autumn fog. In Britain. Who'd have thought, eh?

And in the small print, outside the Scottish mountains, the snow is expected on the tops of Snowdonia and the Lake District.

It's almost as if the Mail can't help itself - every single story, no matter how minor, has to feature some kind of hyperbolic distortion.

Now Germany bids to seize our skies as it puts in offer for air traffic control

Dont mention the…
Quote:
The Luftwaffe never managed it during the Second World War thanks to the heroism of The Few.

Now, seven decades on, Germany is once again plotting to take control of the skies over Britain… by the altogether more peaceful means of buying our air traffic control service.

Nigel proposes a solution to the problems of the British economy:
Quote:
A few people need sacking and put in some good people.

- Nigel, England, 13/12/2011 10:33 Rating 6

Why can't our politicians come up with ideas like that?

It's for sale because the UK went bust bailing out the banks. But does the DM want the EU to regulate the City? No.

There was a lull in these articles after I posted the OP. Typical.

NOW the DM cannot help but use NOW to aim to warp its readers' minds that their world is being eroded.
