Well there's a question begging to be asked at Farage's day out with the Guardian.

Exactly, will he be able to meet their high standards?
Can he remember all the words to "Allah is a Paedo" after 10 cans of wifebeater?
What's he like at running away from the MDL/police/Ajax/anyone bigger than him?
Does he know where they can score cheap Charlie?

UKIP didn't win the Feltham & Heston by-election. Ah. Sad.

But given that this was their candidate, are we surprised?

Narglefargle claiming that their 5.5% vote share shows that they are a 'fresh alternative'. Not sure about that one. I would have thought that coming second was a necessary prerequisite for being the alternative to the winner.

Or as an even casual observer with no axe to grind might note, 94.5% of voters tell UKIP to piss off. Over to you, Nigel.

It was a close run thing though , they nearly got in............ well maybe not.

Labour - 12,639 (54.42%, +10.79%)
Conservatives - 6,436 (27.71%, -6.32%)
Lib Dems - 1,364 (5.87%, -7.87%)
UKIP - 1,276 (5.49%, +3.45%)

Emmett is still ranting/rambling on though.

It's been the warmest Christmas Day on record here in N Ireland, and a big contrast to this time last year as well. Looks like it's pretty mild in much of Britain as well. Since UKIP have a fondness of having 'Global Warming is bollocks' parties when a bit of snow falls, will they have a 'Global Warming might not be bollocks' party in the next couple of days?

P.S. I know weather =/= climate. Some people otherwise just need a bit of educating, some others are just tossers.

If Scotland leave the UK, UKIP are buggered in name and vision.
