So basically rather than welcoming it as a portrayal of what can happen to even the most strong-willed of people if they're struck down with dementia, Dave wants to cover all that over and have her achievements trumpetted above all else. Just like Churchill before her...

I keep seeing the huge face of Chariman Streep-Thatcher peering down at me from the side of buses and it is a bit unsettling. Two reasons - she looks a lot like her and nothing like her simultaneously somehow and the paradox is a melon twister. Secondly, I feel like an ancient bogeyman has popped up in my life again and is following me.

So good adverts then, impossible to ignore.

As I was reading this thread, a trailer came up on the TV! But I agree about the bus adverts. This morning, I got up, opened the curtains in the lounge and was met with a giant Margaret Thatcher. I screamed and went back to bed.

To be fair, by the time the last person has stopped urinating on her grave, she's going to be buried under a not unsubstantial man-made lake. On a serious note though, they are surely going to have to provide some round-the-clock security cover on that resting place for a few years at least.

The "wouldn'ts" are easy to cater for. They will just turn up and simply not do whatever it is they wouldn't do.
