Don't forget your back next time! Helen Flanagan suffers a fake tan disaster following make-up blunder

Edited although "Mal" does seem somehow appropriate.

Quote:
The 21-year-old actress was spotted leaving a Costa Coffee in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, today looking a little weary.
Clutching what we can only assume was a double espresso, Flanagan - who plays model Rosie Webster in the ITV1 soap - chose an odd choice of attire for the trip to her local coffee shop.

Chose a choice, eh?

She does seem to get rather a lot of coverage in the Mail, either there is a member of the paparazzi constantly stalking her or she has an agent who is very good at tipping of the papers about where she will be at certain times.

They are particularly nasty to her. She's just a young girl who wears a bit too much make-up (as many other young girls do). It's hardly the crime of the century.

And she's got big tits, which means they have an excuse to print stories of her displaying those.

Can anyone explain why the Mail/Mailities hate her so much?
All I know about her is that she's an actress on Coronation Street, an ITV programme which I imagine is pretty popular with the readership. I've never seen her act as I've not watched Coronation Street for about 10 years but at least she has a talent, compared to the countless women the Mail fawns over who are famous for no apparent reason eg Jordan, assorted WAGs etc.

They're aspirational.

Actually, you're right. The dividing line is narrow. It may even come down to an individual 'journalist' and their opinion on the day, or their general prejudices.
