Dickie knows his fanbase will lap up a good old dose of demonising the poor. But with the economy tanking, the middle classes are next to be sacrificed to keep the rich from having to take a hit. Wonder how his fanbase will react when he's having to paint them as scroungers?

He'll do a week of populist banker bashing, mixed up with some fond reminiscences of the great old days of Fleet Street, H&S cobblers, and he will pray for something bad to happen overseas so he can tell us all why we shouldn't give a shit (terrible though the disaster is).
