Hospital creates 1950s living room to help stir memories in dementia patients

Does the lovely Eunice have a memory that could respond to a little stirring?

That wallpaper is from John Lewis and also in Katies house in Emmerdale. Its £36 per roll. We have it as a feature wall on our landing. You can also get matching paint.

That's a pretty fucking impressive pot of paint if it's going to match the pattern on that wallpaper.

There's a moment in The Inbetweeners where, on work experience, one of them is told to go out and buy some tartan paint.

^ He did act like a dick though on that occasion. :)

There was a teacher at my secondary school who would send pupils on fools errands during class time. Never mind spending the designated lesson time actualy teaching, this woman would pick a pupil from whatever class she had at the time, and send them to a colleague's class for a "short weight" or other such things. I don't mean troublesome kids either, who's occasional absence might have been of some benefit to the rest of the class - any random kid who she thought might fall for it.

Naturaly, the kids were mostly much smarter than her and if chosen, would take the chance to legitimately leave during class time to smoke behind the gym building or go to the corner shop.

Surprised you didn't get your ex-pat man on the spot to write this for you, or would it have required too much research and, you know, EFFORT for him?

Richard Willscarlet? nah. Richard Alanadale? not him either. Richard Tuck? could be? It has resonance as it would certainly suit the fat, greedy pig.
