Unrelated but it reminds me of something. Actually, someone. This looks very much like a chap in my local outdoor market. I realised long ago that all of the market traders are surrounded by healthy produce yet exist entirely on fags, greasy spoon tea and coffee, fry ups and booze. They all have a sickly grey pallor and generally look about 30 years older than they probably are. Some real coffin-dodgers there amongst the super-foods and blueberries.

Are they so sick of the sight of fruit that they can't face eating it? Is it just a thing to sell and their interest goes no further than how much they can shift and for what profit? Weird. I'm not getting all health facist here, I know they can neglect their health any way they see fit, but it is kind of paradoxical.

Almost as funny a some of the DM "science" articles.

According to NASA, amongst the ways of deflecting it are putting a probe onto the rock and using the extra gravity the craft generates to steer the asteroid away over millions of light years.

But the rock then flies towards the South Pole, travelling high above Antarctica and then the tip of South America before continuing on its journey across the universe.

A shot taken above the English Channel shows how France and England are like electricity grids ablaze with billions of volts of power.

I'm getting VERY pissed off with these obvious joke test answers been put across to readers as real, they don't NEED any more encouragement to think that education today is shit and kids know nothing, but I imagine that is the side effect of these articles that they are mist looking forward to.

As we know full well when some people see something that could confirm what they mistakenly believe to be true they will be so pleased deep down to see it that they won't stop to think it through.

As from next week, Tumblr will be implementing a policy banning posts that actively promote self-harm.

Searches for tags that typically go along with self-harm blogs (for example 'thinspiration') will also bring up a public service announcement.

'One less pig to worry about': Vile taunts of the internet trolls posted only hours after police officer blinded by Moat killed himself

The mail complains about people making vile remarks on the internet.

I'm similarly rather bored by the ones where one smart Alec thinks "I'll get no marks for this so let's have a laugh"
I did rather enjoy this one though, as the perpetrator is either transcribing character by character, or is extremely smart.

And his name's reputed to have been spelled in 13 different ways.

More bollocks, I suspect The number of 500gbp dogs abandoned during one particular period versus another period requires only a few mutts to throw huge percentages. Like - erm - one, for example.
