Given there's absolutely nothing wrong with (a) Zooey Deschanel and (b) norks, I rest my case.

I just don't see the appeal of Perry. It's like that Lady Gar-Gar or whatever. Perry's act seems to be based on "Look at me I have big tits" and Gar-Gar on "Look at me I'm a mug dressed in bacon".

But Zooey Deschannel isn't - I'm still puzzling over it myself.

I think the Perry thing is that she comes across as relatively bright and articulate, as well as ticking the eye candy boxes.

It's probably 'cos I was more into indie music at the time, so I found her twee-like cuteness, well, cute.

To be honest, I wouldn't do anything with either of them. Katy Perry just has no appeal for me. It's like she's trying to be everyone slightly weird from musical history at once. When she's in a more "normal" appearance I think she's not... too bad, but most of the time she's acting as some rather bizarre person.

AND she even manages to make latex un-sexy.
