He may be a bit of a tit but he's pretty much bang on the money there. A pretty large number of people in Cities of London and Westminster would support those positions too.

I should explain, I lived in Guildford from the age of 12 - 22, it was very solidly Tory and a very lonely place to be a young socialist. I still carry those scars.

This has quite made my night, especially when Pickles tried taking on Self in a battle of wits, which wasn't a smart idea.

They managed to lose the seat in 2001, incredibly.

Maybe they were bright enough to notice the election wasn't actually a referendum on the pound.

That's not surprising really. They've belatedly realised what an easy issue it is. No need to give up any power or anything.
