To be fair, he is one of the few rightwingers I've heard criticise the money spunked by British defence contractors. But his "Westminster bubble" schtick irritates me. His previous real world experience was working in the City for a Bermuda-resident firm.

Jessie James is an idiot of the first order. I've no idea how she became famous. Well, obviously I do - scheming, corrupt record companies and a gullible mass of hard-of-thinking teenagers to sell to.

On the other hand Abby Sciuto is bang-tidy and brilliant. But unfortunately yes, she is a devout Catholic (which I suppose is better than a bible-bashing evangelist or baptist). She's on a bowling team with several nuns.

Back in reality, Pauley Perrette is 42 years old. Oh yeah!!

I know - amazing, isn't it! I must say, I really do like that show, even if they have been hitting a religious trend this season - it was DiNozzo last episode, talking out loud to God. Are there no atheists on American TV?

I love it, even though it's a Network TV show. And it's a Donald P. Bellisario [original] production. His stuff does pander to the lowest common denominator so that's where the religion and jingoism come from - but I can live with it.

I get my episodes from my friend, Brian Torrent, who "records" them for me in the States. So I don't know where they're up to on UK transmitted telly.

I would never have even heard of it were it not for a chance sequence of events in Spain in the winter of 2003 where I found myself channel surfing on someone else's tellybox and found the first season on some obscure satellite channel.
